Macaroni Kid will also be attending the MN Outdoor Youth Expo in Hugo over the weekend.  This is a great outdoor event for kids, I hope you get out and enjoy the weather and stop by our table to make a fun Bird Feeder!!

This family event is designed for kids and teens to get outside and meet over 60 outdoor organizations, experts and educators.  Activities at each exhibit for all ages and most are free.  Learning seminars and demonstrations through out the event.  Come out for a few hours or stay for the day, but plan to wear your walking shoes.  This expo is all outdoors and laid out over 65 acres of beautiful wooded trails and open fields.

Strawberry Cream Cheese Shortcake

This super easy recipe is an easy and delicious twist on traditional Strawberry Shortcake.

Ingredients:

1 Box White or Yellow Cake Mix

3 Eggs

1 8 oz. Package Softened Cream Cheese

¼ cup All Purpose Flour

2 Quarts of Strawberries

¼ cup Granulated Sugar

Whipped Cream

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Wash and cut up fresh strawberries, mix in a bowl with granulated sugar and set aside
